SURREY RCMP are informing the public of road closures following a motor vehicle collision in Guildford.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on March 16, 2021, Surrey RCMP received multiple reports of a collision involving a police vehicle and a civilian vehicle in the 10000-block of 148 Street. The driver of the civilian vehicle was seriously injured. He was transported to the hospital.

The public is asked to avoid the area as traffic in all four directions is closed at this time. Police are on scene and expected to continue their work in the area for several hours.
