UPDATE:
BC Highway Patrol announced around 12:40 p.m. that the highway has re-opened.
BC Highway Patrol says it is currently investigating a collision that has partially shut down westbound traffic on Highway 1 at 264 Street.
The collision occurred on Monday at 11:15 a.m. and involved a tractor-trailer and a sedan. The driver of the sedan has been taken to hospital with what appear to be minor injuries.
Road users should expect delays in the area until all the evidence has been gathered and the roadway is safe for travel.
