VANCOUVER Coastal Health (VCH) on Monday declared a COVID-19 outbreak on the first floor north and second floor north of Fraserview Retirement Community after 10 residents tested positive for COVID-19. 

Outbreak precautions have been implemented at Fraserview, and all group activities on the affected floors have been suspended. Non-essential visits to long term care facilities have paused by Public Health Order until January 18. 

VCH said it immediately implemented strict infection prevention and control protocols to prevent further transmission of COVID-19.
