Family of 2017 Surrey homicide victim Tanner Krupa appealing for information with new website

THE family of 19-year-old homicide victim Tanner Krupa has developed a website in his memory and is appealing to the public for information on the case.

In 2017, The VOICE reported: “On Sunday (August 20), just after 5 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of an altercation in the 6900-block of 127A Street.  When police arrived, they found a deceased male victim in a back alleyway, who had suffered injuries consistent with homicide.  The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has since taken conduct of the investigation. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Tanner Krupa of Edmonton, Alberta.”

This week, IHIT announced that Tanner’s family and friends have developed a website to tell his story in the hopes that someone with information about his murder will come forward. The website is www.whathappenedtotanner.com

“Tanner’s website and video were created by good friends of ours who care deeply about what happened to Tanner and want to see justice served,” says Kim Krupa, Tenner’s mother. “Tanner left behind so many loved ones who miss him dearly and we will never give up until we find those responsible.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the IHIT information line at 1-877-551- IHIT (4448), or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
