Federal public safety minister says government’s working closely with law enforcement to solve Nijjar’s murder

THE Liberal Party’s Sikh caucus members met with Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino regarding the shocking murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, President of Surrey’s Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara on Sunday night (June 18) in a parking lot of the gurdwara.

Surrey Newton MP Sukh Dhaliwal said on Twitter: “He assured us that our government is working closely with law enforcement to solve this crime and protect the Sikh community and all Canadians.”
