ON Sunday, October 26 at approximately 11:20 p.m., the Delta Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle incident and subsequent vehicle fire in the 7000-block of Highway 17.

Despite the efforts of attending emergency personnel, the vehicle’s sole female occupant was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. The Delta Police Department extended it sincere condolences to the victim’s family during this difficult time.

Together with the BC Coroners Service, the DPD is investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
