FORMER West Kelowna Warrior forward Parmjot “Parm” Singh Dhaliwal, 23, passed away over the weekend, the team announced on its Twitter account.
The team also posted info about his Celebration of Life that takes place on Sunday, August 7 at 10 a.m. at Riverside Funeral Home, 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta, followed by prayers at 12 p.m. at Dukh Nivaran Gurdwara, 15255 68 Avenue, Surrey. There is also a Celebration of Life at Prince Charles Elementary School, 12405 100 Avenue, Surrey, at 7 p.m.: “If you had the privilege of playing with, against, or knew Parm through hockey please wear a jersey to show the immense impact Parm had on the hockey community.”
