IN PHOTOS: HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN AT VANCOUVER ART GALLERY

Sikhs, indigenous people and Palestinians came together to attend the campaign for human rights at the Vancouver Art Gallery on June 5, organized by the UBC and SFU students’ associations. The event commemorated the 37th anniversary of Operation Bluestar, and showed support for the farmers of Punjab, the people of Palestine, Uyghur Muslims and others. Space was carved it to speak on the remains of 215 indigenous children found at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School.
