INDIAN Consul General Manish inaugurated the India Pavilion at the BUILDEX Vancouver 2024, a prominent construction industry fair held at the Vancouver Convention Centre from February 14-15. This significant event underscores the burgeoning ties between India and Canada in the realm of construction and trade.

The India Pavilion at BUILDEX Vancouver showcased the innovation and expertise of 27 Indian companies. These companies, hailing from various sectors of the Indian economy, converged under the banner of the Federation of Indian Exporters Organization (FIEO), India’s premier export promotion agency with a legacy dating back to 1965.

A diverse array of products, used in the construction sector, were displayed at the India Pavilion. From cutting-edge construction equipment to high-quality building materials, ceramics walls and floor tiles, hardware tools, marble, granite, architectural and interior hardware and bath fittings, the pavilion encapsulated the breadth and depth of India’s contributions to the global construction industry.

Manish expressed his delight at the robust presence of Indian companies at BUILDEX Vancouver 2024, affirming the commitment of both nations to foster mutually beneficial partnerships in the construction domain.
