As a rising star, Isabelle will be presented the prestigious Special Achievement Award for contribution to independent cinema. She is the sister of well-known Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif.

Isabelle Kaif was raised in India and England.  In 2009 she moved to New York City to attend the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She started out doing theater in New York and working as an assistant director, which led to independent cinema, with titles such as Summum Bonum (East End Film Festival, Official Selection.) Isabelle now lives in Los Angeles where she continues to work. Recent credits include Jean-Francois Pouliot’s much-anticipated Dr. Cabbie, which is set to release September 19 across North America and co-stars Vinay Virmani and Kunal Nayyar.

In addition, Canadian singing sensation, Raghav, will perform live at this year’s show and sing the hit song “All I Need Is You” from the Dr. Cabbie soundtrack. At 17, he moved to Los Angeles to develop his vocal skills under Seth Riggs who has trained, amongst others, Madonna, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. A year later he moved to Liverpool, England, where he studied at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. In late 2012, Raghav was featured on the track Ishq Shava, from the popular Bollywood movie“Jab Tak Hai Jaan.” The music was composed by A.R. Rahman, and the film was directed by the late filmmaker legend Yash Chopra.

The show is presented by Chevrolet in association with Zee TV Canada, which will once again air the event, post show.
