ISLAMIC Relief Canada and BC Muslim Association’s dedicated volunteers at Richmond Jamea Masjid assembled 120 backpacks, each filled with essential school supplies for vulnerable students in Richmond and surrounding areas.

This year’s initiative is part of Islamic Relief Canada’s 5th annual nationwide campaign, aiming to support over 4,500 children across multiple cities — 2,000 more students than its campaign last school year.

These backpacks will be distributed to children through BC Muslim School and Surrey Muslim School. The mission is to support newcomers, refugees, and families facing financial hardships, ensuring every child has the tools they need to succeed in the new school year.
