THE Khalsa Credit Union has announced that former CEO Dalbir Singh Mehta has left the organization and it is looking for a new CEO.
Gurminder Kaur Malik, Chair, Board of Directors, KCU, said in a statement: “Mike Schilling has been hired as a consultant to support the transition to the new CEO. In this time of transition, Mike will lead Khalsa Credit Union until we find a new CEO from the Sikh community. Mike has spent the majority of his career working in the financial services industry, most recently as CEO of a UK credit union. Prior to this, Mike led global teams for an international bank and brings experience living and working across Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.”
Malik added: “The Board has already started a vigorous recruiitment process for our new CEO. You may view the posting on our website at www.khalsacreditunion.ca. We hope to advise of our success in the [near] future.”
The KCU also noted: “As recent year-end results demonstrate, the Credit Union has a strong financial position.
