Male and female stabbed in Surrey home

SURREY RCMP are investigating after two people were injured in a stabbing at a residence in Surrey.

On Friday, July 22 at approximately 3 a.m., police were called to a home in the 13000-block of 101B in Surrey for a report of a stabbing. Police located two adult victims, a male and a female, suffering injuries consistent with stab wounds.

First aid was rendered on scene, and both victims were transported to hospital. They are currently in stable condition.

Police said that early indications are that this incident stemmed from an altercation that preceded the stabbing. Police are working to identify all parties involved, including possible suspects and will be continuing with canvassing in the area, looking for CCTV footage and anyone with dash cam.
