SURREY RCMP are investigating a shooting in the Cloverdale area in which one male has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Saturday, August 3 at approximately 8:41 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a male suffering from a gunshot wound in an encampment located in the 5300-block of 180 Street.
The Surrey RCMP General Investigations Unit has conduct of the investigation, and investigators are working to determine all of the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Evidence gathering is still underway, but initial indications are this was a targeted, isolated incident.
