ON Sunday, around midnight, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 16200-block of 80 Avenue. A male suffering from injuries was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages, but initial indications are that this is a targeted/isolated incident and involves parties known to each other, police said.
