Male shot in targeted incident in Surrey

SURREY RCMP are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 10100-block of 152 Street on Sunday, August 15, just 10 minutes after midnight. Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired and officers located evidence confirming a shooting had taken place.

Police located one male victim suffering from gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

A media report said that a white Ferrari at The Boardwalk Mall was full of bullet holes. Its driver’s side window was shattered.

The investigation is in its early stages. Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with several witnesses to obtain further information. At this time this incident does not appear to be a random act, but rather targeted at this male.
