Man charged in relation to four separate robberies in Cloverdale

SURREY RCMP announced on Friday that 20-year-old Jake Eric Henderson has been charged with four counts of robbery in relation to four separate gas station robberies that occurred in Cloverdale. He was remanded in custody and will be brought before the court.

The Surrey RCMP Robbery Unit began their investigation following a series of robberies with similar circumstances that took place on January 18, 19, 23, and 27.  (See previous release).

With the assistance of the Integrated Forensic Identification Services, a suspect was identified, and later arrested at his Surrey residence on March 3.

“Robberies are traumatic incidents for victims because they often include a threat of violence or assault,” said Constable Joshua Bloomfield, Surrey RCMP Robbery Unit. “We hope that for the victims of these four robberies, the charges that have been laid bring them a sense of justice. We look forward to now entering the court process.”
