Man charged with aggravated assault from stabbing in Surrey in May

SURREY RCMP announced on Wednesday that a suspect has been identified and charged in relation to a stabbing that occurred in Whalley last month.

On May 26 at 7:10 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of alleged assault with a weapon in the 10200-block of City Parkway in Surrey. Frontline officers attended the area and located a female victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

On June 17, 41-year-old Adam Mann was charged with aggravated assault. He has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance on June 25.

As this matter is now before the courts, Surrey RCMP said they will not be providing any additional details.
