Man in custody after 1 dead, several injured in North Vancouver library stabbing

ON Saturday, March 27, just before 1:40 p.m., the North Vancouver RCMP received a report of multiple victims of a stabbing at the Lynn Valley Library. When officers arrived at the scene, they found multiple victims inside the library suffering from stab wounds. One woman later succumbed to her injuries.

One man has been arrested and is currently in police custody. The Integrated Homicide Investigation (IHIT) has been called in and are now conducting the investigation in partnership with the North Vancouver RCMP. Investigators do not believe there is any ongoing risk to the public.
