INVESTIGATORS from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit have charged a man in a sexual assault investigation.
A young victim recently came forward regarding ongoing incidents of sexual assault. The incidents began in the winter of 2019. This led to an arrest on Monday, March 9.
Investigators have arrested Mustafa Alazzawi, a 40-year-old male from Milton and have charged him with sexual assault, and sexual interference. He was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Alazzawi is a teacher at a Mississauga area private school, and investigators believe that there may be additional victims and witnesses. Police are asking anyone that has had contact with Mustafa Alazzawi and believe that they have been the victim or witness of a criminal offence, to contact officers from the Special Victims Unit.
