ON Monday, May 1 at approximately 3 a.m., New Westminster Police learned about a victim in distress near the intersection of Carnarvon Street and Alexander Street. Officers and BC Emergency Health Services paramedics located a victim with significant but non-life-threatening injuries and provided him aid and transportation to a local area hospital.
“At this time officers are canvassing the area for CCTV footage of the suspects,” said Sgt. Andrew Leaver on Tuesday. “This assault occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. and there are indications this is a targeted assault.”
