North Vancouver collision could be alcohol-related

ON Saturday, May 4 at approximately 8 p.m., North Vancouver RCMP were called to a multi-vehicle collision at the 300-block of Brooksbank Avenue. One of the vehicles crashed into a local store.

Officers determined there were no injuries, but it is suspected that alcohol was a factor. A woman, who was driving one of the vehicles, is being investigated for alcohol-related offences.

“North Van RCMP would like to remind the public to always plan safe ride home if you plan on drinking. This crash had multiple bystanders in the area that could have been injured and this collision could have had tragic consequences. We are fortunate there was only property damage,” said Cpl. Brett Urano, Division Media Relations Officer.

“If you suspect someone of impaired and driving please call 911 and report the incident.”
