North Vancouver RCMP arrest 3 suspects in knife-point robberies

LAST weekend, North Vancouver RCMP arrested three suspects believed to be responsible for a string of knife-point robberies that were subject of a public alert on April 14.

The investigation into the eight robberies, which had been ongoing since the robberies began on April 3, was led by a team of serious crimes investigators with support from frontline patrol officers.

“Last week we had two goals: to warn the community, and to ask for help. You came through, and we want to say thank you,” said DeVries. “North Van is a great community that way. We stick together and help each other out. And that makes all of us safer.”

“Although arrests have been made, the investigation continues,” he added, meaning police are not releasing any additional information at this time.
