August 30, 1917 to October 18, 2018

On Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 11 a.m., God called for our beloved father Jagat Singh Rai (aka Kirti) from Moranwali, Punjab, India. Kirti first immigrated to London, England, in 1965 and then to Richmond, BC, in 1974.

He is predeceased by: his wife, Ajit Kaur; daughter, Mohinder Kaur Sall; brother, Piara Singh Rai; sister in-law, Chanan Kaur Rai; sister, Joginder Kaur Dhesi; and brother in-law, Pritam Singh Dhesi. He is survived by his sons, Kesar Singh Rai (Surinder Kaur) and Bilhar Singh Rai (Balwinder Kaur), and son-in-law Tirath Singh Sall. He leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

He lived a full life and was loved by all.

Funeral services will be on Friday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at Riverside Funeral Home and Crematorium, 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta.

Bhog will follow at Nanaksar Gurdwara, 18691 Westminster Highway, Richmond.
