ONTARIO: Amanjot Bains, 36, shot and killed at Brampton plaza

ON Tuesday, October 12 at 12:54 a.m., police received a call reporting a person had been shot at a plaza at Dixie Road and Peter Robertson Boulevard in the City of Brampton.

Emergency services located a man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.  He was transported to a trauma centre where he died as a result of his injuries.

The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Amanjot Bains.

Based on their investigation Peel Regional Police said they are aware that several potential witnesses were in the area at the time of the shooting, but have not yet had the opportunity to speak with investigators.
