ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Special Victims Unit have charged 73-year-old Naeem Khan from Mississauga in a sexual assault investigation.
On August 27, the victim, a person under the age of 16, was in a store in the area of Creditview Road and Eglinton Avenue West in the City of Mississauga, when he was sexually assaulted by the suspect. The victim suffered no injuries.
On September 5, based on information received from the community, Khan was charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual harassment and criminal harassment. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 6.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone that has had contact with Naeem Khan and believes they have been the victim of a criminal offence, are asked to contact officers from the Special Victims Unit.
