ONTARIO: Parminder Barn, 38, of Brampton arrested for cargo theft

INVESTIGATORS from the Peel Regional Police Intelligence Services’ Cargo Theft Unit have arrested and charged Parminder Barn, 38, of Brampton  for possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance in Brampton.

On September 15, a tractor and trailer were stolen from the area of Hurontario Street and Conservation Drive in Brampton.

On November 1, after a lengthy investigation, police executed a search warrant in the area of St. Hubert Drive and Bellville Drive in Brampton.  Located and seized were items relating to seven cargo theft-related reports in Peel Region.

Barn was charged with eight counts of possession of property obtained by crime and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
