ONTARIO: Peel Regional Police ask for public’s help in Brampton fight (with videos)

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in providing video for an incident where numerous victims were assaulted with a weapon.

On Sunday, August 28 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a fight involving weapons between a large group of people in a parking lot at Mclaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue West in the City of Brampton.  There were numerous victims who suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The videos that have been circulating — two of which were sent to the VOICE — show young South Asian males.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators with the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 2233. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
