Passenger who lost $2,700 on bus gets it all back

THANKS to an honest Good Samaritan, a passenger who recently lost $2,700 while riding on the 240 Lynn Valley bus in North Vancouver, has got all his money back.

The Good Samaritan found the money in an envelope on the bus and turned it in to North Vancouver RCMP so that the rightful owner could claim it.

“If it’s yours, you’ll need to describe the denominations and the unique envelope it was found in,” police said in a post on X on Wednesday.

Some hours later, North Vancouver RCMP announced on X: “Faith in humanity restored. The envelope of cash has been reunited with its rightful owner. Thanks to the power of social media (and a very honest Good Samaritan), the owner is no longer $2,700 short.”

Amen!
