ON Thursday, January 29, 2026, at approximately 7:44 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a train near Glover Road and Billy Brown Road in Langley.

Frontline officers immediately responded to the area and located an individual who had been struck by the train.

“Despite life saving efforts the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “Road closures are in effect in the immediate area while our investigators continue their investigation.”

Motorists and other road users are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
