ON Monday at approximately 4 a.m., Richmond RCMP responded to an incident at Vancouver International Airport involving an individual who accessed an aircraft without authorization. The situation was resolved and one individual is now in police custody.

Specialized police resources responded alongside the police’s partners at the airport.

The investigation is ongoing. No further details will be released at this time, police said.
