Pilot suffers minor injuries in Surrey plane crash

AT approximately 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a small plane crash near the area of Blackie Spit in the 3100-block of McBride Avenue in Surrey.

Several first responders are currently on scene. The preliminary investigation indicates the only person on board was the pilot who sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital. There was no other damage or injuries reported as a result of this incident.
