THE Port Moody Police are appealing for additional witnesses after an alleged hit-and-run collision in late January.

On January 30 just after 8 a.m., officers were called to the 100-block of Ioco Road for a report of a multi-vehicle crash. The driver of a white Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter van reportedly struck a white Subaru from behind, then drove off westbound on Capilano Road into Suter Brook Village, leaving a large trail of fluids through the area.

The Subaru received significant damage as a result. Fortunately, the driver reported only minor injuries at scene.

Any additional witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding the owner or driver of the suspect vehicle are asked to contact Port Moody Police Department and quote file 2026-445.
