TWO South Asian men in Ontario – Rajman Grewal, 37, of Brampton, also known as Rajman Mangat, and Sukhpal Pannu, 36, of Cheltenham, also known as Pauly – went missing on December 19.
Peel Regional Police announced that Grewal (“his last name has been changed but some may still know him as Mangat”) “was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, December 19, when he left his residence in Brampton.”
And Pannu was last seen on December 19 “wearing blue / red pajamas with white winter coat.” He left his Cheltenham home in an unknown vehicle heading south on Chinguacousy Road.
Pannu was found safe on December 24.
Grewal became a “person of interest” in Pannu’s disappearance.
He finally turned himself in to the Caledon detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police on the night of December 28 and has been charged with kidnapping.
Police say details of the case will come out in court.
