RCMP look for white male suspect after mischief to Surrey Museum cenotaph

SURREY RCMP on Saturday requested the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in relation to a mischief to the cenotaph located outside the Surrey Museum at 17710 56A Avenue.

The incident occurred on March 29 at approximately 1:30 a.m. The suspect was observed dismantling the statue of the Kneeling Solder as well as damaging various items outside of the Museum.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30-35 years old, medium build, approximately 170 lbs, with brown shoulder length hair, brown goatee beard and wearing prescription glasses (see photo). He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a blue shirt underneath, black pants, and white runners with blue shoe laces.
