Richmond RCMP seek public assistance in suspicious shooting

ON Monday, January 3 shortly before 8:30 a.m., frontline Richmond RCMP officers responded to Richmond General Hospital for a report of a man suffering from injuries consistent with a shooting. The man was able to receive emergency medical assistance.

Police said that so far this appears to be an isolated incident. The investigation is now with the Richmond RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit.

Anyone traveling in around the area of Westminster Highway and Gilbert Road on January 3 between 8 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. is asked to review and provide any dashcam footage they may have.
