ON Sunday, July 14, shortly before 9 p.m., police attended the 3200-block of River Road for a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
According to witnesses, a black Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling eastbound on River Road when it collided with a white 2021 Audi Q8. The Audi was travelling westbound on River Road prior to making a left turn into a residential driveway.
The motorcyclist suffered significant injuries and was transported to a local area hospital. He remains in hospital and is in stable condition.
Richmond RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) along with the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) attended and processed the scene.
Speed was likely a factor in this collision, police said.
