Ridge Meadows RCMP seek witnesses in motor vehicle collision involving pedestrian

RIDGE Meadows RCMP are seeking further witnesses to a motor vehicle collision in which an 85-year-old man was struck.

On February 6, at approximately 2:10 p.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a call where a Black BMW X5 SUV had struck a pedestrian in the 22300-block of Lougheed Highway. The driver, a 36-year-old woman, remained on scene and the man was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services (EHS) with serious injuries, but has since been released.

Over the course of the investigation police have interviewed some witnesses from the scene. However, it is believed there are more potential witnesses as some people left the scene prior to speaking with police.
