ROTARY International President (2019-20) Mark Daniel Maloney will be the chief guest at the Canadian Eyesight Global’s 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner in Surrey on August 18.
Canadian Eyesight Global, whose CEO and Founder is Anup Jubbal, was formerly known as Project Eyesight-India. Jubbal has dedicated 30 years to this noble cause. With the support of dedicated doctors, Rotary Clubs and volunteers, Jubbal has provided restoration of eyesight to tens of thousands of people in rural India since 1989. He is also famous for organizing Free Eye Health Clinics in Canada. He was a land developer, investor and importer from 1968 to 1980 in Kamloops. Jubbal has been showered with accolades by Canadian leaders including prime ministers. Also, Romeo LeBlanc, former Governor General of Canada, said: “His leadership and initiative have brought credit to the Rotary Club and honour to Canada.”
The Gala Dinner event will be held at Surrey’s Grand Taj Banquet Hall on August 18 and is supported by Rotary Clubs of Surrey, Burnaby and New Westminster.
