ON Thursday, September 23 at 6:35 a.m., Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a serious collision at Bradner and Townshipline roads.

The collision involved an SUV-type vehicle colliding with a flat-deck trailer. The driver of the SUV was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The truck and flat-deck trailer driver was uninjured but shaken by the incident and is cooperating with the police.

Abbotsford Police patrol officers and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) remain on scene. Road closures for this investigation include:

Mt. Lehman is closed between Downes Road and Haverman Road.

Townshipline is closed between Ross Road and Lefeuvre Road.
