Several people taken into custody after Surrey shooting

SURREY RCMP took several people into custody, including a couple of minors, while investigating a report of shots fired in the 10800-block of 139A Street.

On December 7, at 4:55 a.m., police responded to a report of shots fired into a residence in the area. The investigation led officers to another residence, also on 139A Street. Contact with the occupants of that residence was established and they were eventually taken into custody . No weapons were found in that home.

Officers interviewed witnesses and searched the area for further information and evidence.
