SURREY RCMP are currently on scene in the Newton area of Surrey for a report of shots fired.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report of shots fired in the 12300-block of 68 Avenue. Officers found shots fired into a home and confirmed there were no injuries.

Officers are conducting neighborhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages.
