SURREY RCMP announced on Friday that they were investigating a targeted shooting in South Surrey.
On August 30 at 1:44 p.m., police received information regarding two vehicles with suspected bullet holes. Officers attended a residence in the 2500-block of 164th Street and located evidence of a shooting.
It appears that no reports of shots fired were made to police. The vehicle damage was reported several hours after it was discovered. There is no indication at this time that anyone was injured in the shooting, police said.
The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit is on scene and has taken conduct of the investigation. The early indications are that this was a targeted incident.
