South Asians constitute majority of wrestlers in B.C. team at Dinos Cup & Jurassic Classic

SOUTH Asians make up the majority of both male and female wrestlers in the provincial team that will be representing British Columbia at the U19 Dinos Cup & Jurassic Classic  wrestling tournament taking place in Calgary, Alberta, from January 3-5.
There are 24 athletes on the team, 12 boys and 12 girls.
Out of the 12 girls, 7 of them are Punjabi.
Out of the 12 boys, 8 of them are Punjabi.
In total, there are 15 Punjabi athletes on the provincial team of 24. This is the first time this many Punjabis are on the provincial team.
Ten different clubs are being represented on the provincial team, 6 of them are Punjabi-based wrestling clubs from the Lower Mainland.
These wrestlers are truly an inspiration for all youth to pursue peaceful, constructive activities and bring honour to B.C., their clubs and their families.
