THE BC Lions are surging at just the right time. With a 38–24 win over the Calgary Stampeders, the Lions officially punched their ticket to the 2025 CFL playoffs — their fourth straight postseason appearance.

Quarterback Nathan Rourke was electric, throwing for 414 yards and four touchdowns, spreading the ball effectively across his receiving corps. Though a pair of interceptions gave Calgary life late in the game, the Lions’ defense answered the call, led by Robert Carter Jr., who came up with two clutch interceptions to shut the door.

At 31–9 heading into the fourth quarter, BC controlled much of the game, showcasing a balanced attack and a confident rhythm on both sides of the ball. The win extends their winning streak to four, positioning them strongly in the race for a home playoff date at BC Place.

With momentum building and key players finding form, the Lions are not just playoff participants — they’re emerging as one of the most dangerous teams in the CFL heading into November.
