Sumeeta Kohli appointed to Ontario’s Peel Police Services Board

SUMEETA Kohli of Mississauga is the newest member of Ontario’s Peel Police Services Board. She was nominated to the Board by the Province of Ontario.

“I’m very pleased to welcome Sumeeta Kohli to the Board,” said Board Chair Ron Chatha. “Sumeeta brings extensive experience in the community to her new role as a Police Services Board member. I am confident that she will be an effective and valuable Board member.”

Kohli has over 20-plus years’ experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, events management, marketing communications and tourism spanning across several industries. She is an entrepreneur, marketing, and events strategist and community leader. A lifelong resident of Peel, she is an active community leader and serves on several community organizations. Kohli has a personal commitment to work and support the community and strives to see more initiatives that create further steps for diversity and inclusion.

“Over the years, I have had the privilege of living, working, and being an active member of this vibrant community. I am honoured to have this opportunity to give back further and serve the residents of Peel,” said Kohli. “I am looking forward to working with the Board and the Chief.”
