What: Surrey RCMP Open House (Free)
When: May 11 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: Surrey RCMP Main Detachment (14355 57 Avenue)
Who: Surrey RCMP officers and staff, policing and community partners
There will be police boats, bikes and vehicles on site, with lots of hands-on activities, free food and a chance to meet police pups.
“After celebrating last years Open House in the company of the National RCMP Musical Ride, it is exciting to be able to gather again as a community to showcase the services and programs the Surrey RCMP has to offer,” says Cpl. James Mason. “We look forward to this opportunity to interact with our local residents at this fun family friendly event at our city’s main detachment.”
Everyone is encouraged to dress for the weather as the majority of the activities will be held outside in an area with minimal shade. In addition, bring a refillable water bottle and utilize the onsite water stations to minimize the environmental impact.
