SURREY RCMP are looking to find the rightful owner of a stolen Milwaukee tool box that was seized during a search warrant.
On September 19, Surrey RCMP responded to two break-and-enters to residences in the 14000-block of 24 Avenue. Tools and luggage were among the items that were reported to have been stolen.
The Surrey RCMP Property Crime Unit took conduct of the investigation and identified a residence where they believed the stolen items were being stored.
On September 20, investigators executed a search warrant on a residence located in the 2400-block of 140 Street. A large amount of stolen property including identification, tools, electronics, and luggage was located and seized by police.
Investigators have identified the rightful owners and returned most of the seized property, with the exception of a red Milwaukee Packout tool box. Police are releasing a photo of the tool box in hopes of finding the rightful owner.
