POLICE are investigating a targeted shooting at a residence in North Delta.
On Wednesday, January 7 at approximately 5:10 a.m., patrol officers responded to reports of shots fired at a home in the area of 84 Avenue and Brooke Road.

The residence was occupied at the time; however, fortunately, no one was injured.

This incident is believed to be connected to an ongoing extortion investigation, Delta Police said.

Delta Police Major Crime Section is leading the investigation and is working closely with partner agencies.
