COQUITLAM RCMP are asking drivers to review their dash camera footage following a targeted shooting that occurred on Saturday, August 29.

Investigators are seeking video footage from vehicles that were travelling in, or parked within, the 100-block of Schoolhouse Street in Coquitlam between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on August 29. Even footage that may appear uneventful or unrelated could contain information that is valuable to the investigation.

While investigators have determined this incident is targeted and there’s no ongoing risk to the public, the motive remains under investigation. In order to protect the integrity of the investigation, no further information will be released at this time, police said.
